Candy Crush Level 1988 Tips

First clear Icing as quickly as you can. With each one you clear it will become increasingly easier to make special candies.

With most of the Icing gone you want to focus on making special candies you can use to hit the horizontal Striped candy at the top of the playing field. Activating it will clear the Icing below the Candy Bomb Dispensers and will allow Candy Bombs to spawn.

If you’re a bit lucky you will be able to make special candies you can use to hit the Icing below the Dispensers. Most of the time this will be quicker than activating the horizontal Striped candy at the top. But keep in mind that the quicker Candy Bombs spawn, the more difficult it will be to defuse all the Candy Bombs that spawn.

To gain points activate Color Bomb candies on their own or use them to defuse Candy Bombs. The more candies you clear with the Color Bomb candy the bigger the boost will be. That’s why it’s important you clear blockers as quickly as you can as this will allow more candies on the playing field.

Match candies near the bottom of the playing field (or as low as possible) as often as you can. Doing this will shift the largest amount of candies. This in turn will hopefully start a chain reaction that will create new opportunities to make special candies.
